The online French group is an opportunity to have an informal chat in French with a small, friendly group of people from the comfort of your own home.

We normally start with general conversation about what we have been doing recently and then read and discuss a text that is circulated before the meeting.

Unless otherwise arranged, we generally meet online as shown above, except in December. We use the free version of Zoom, so the meeting lasts around 80 minutes (two back to back free Zoom sessions.)

We would welcome some new members. Please get in touch if you would like to give it a try to see if it is the right level for you.

Note that it is not suitable for beginners in the language but there is a French Beginners Group at Shepway u3a for those members new to the language.
