At the moment we have 10 members in the Group. We usually take a break for a couple of months during the summer (July and August).

We are all on email and we send out our stories each month to everyone on the list to read in advance. If only a few members are attending ( as happens when people go on holiday!) we can often read them out aloud again at the meeting. Our critiques are always encouraging with a tendency to some good natured teasing!

We normally have about 3 titles to choose from and sometimes we do speed writing exercises or bring pictures or objects to write about instead. I try to ring the changes and everyone is able to contribute ideas both new and old!

I am very relaxed about members choosing something different to the titles given if they are uninspired by them, or writing non fiction or poetry if the muse takes them.

The main idea is that we enjoy our meetings and each others company and input.
